Rectangular silencers

Rectangular silencers are used to reduce noise generated in air conditioning and ventilation systems. The casing of the silencer is made from galvanized sheet metal, with thicknesses ranging from 0.6 mm to 1.5 mm, depending on the length of the device. The vanes of the silencer have widths of 100 mm or 200 mm.

The core filler is made of stone wool with a density of 50 kg/m³, one side of which is coated with a layer of fiberglass. The stone wool used complies with the fire resistance class A2 according to DIN 4102 standards.
