Sand Trap Louver

Installed at the ends of air ducts for intake and exhaust in dusty environments, functioning as a pre-filter. It features a U-shaped profile with vertically mounted blades inside the casing. The particle retention efficiency ranges from 30-78% for particles ranging from 75 to 700 microns, and increases to 70-97% for particles between 350 and 750 microns. In the dust-catching louver with a retractable drawer, dust particles carried by the air collide with the blades due to centrifugal force, separating from the air and collecting through holes at the bottom of the unit for evacuation. The only difference with the bottom-type dust-catching louvers is that dust particles are also separated from the air and evacuated through holes at the bottom. They are made with flanges of 20, 25, 30, and 35 mm. The casing and blades are made from galvanized steel sheet and coated with powder paint. Standard colors are RAL9010 and RAL9016, but other colors can be provided upon request.
