CAV damper

A CAV damper is a mechanical device designed to maintain a constant airflow in supply and exhaust lines. It operates without the need for a motor or electricity, using a spring mechanism that adjusts the airflow depending on the pressure in the duct. The operating pressure range is from 50 Pa to 100 Pa. The recommended airspeed is between 2–10 m/s. The valve body is made of galvanized steel, while the blades and their mechanism are made of aluminum.
